The Solid Background Hand Painted Sarong, Pareo, Lava-Lave is hand dyed and hand painted by dipping a stick in bleach, then into the pigment color. Each flower petals are painted with one stroke. Each sarong comes with a hand carved cocount shell buckle for easy tying.
Sarong is the Indonesian word for sarong. Lava Lava is the Hawaiian word for Sarong. Pareo is the Tahitian word for sarong. Sarongs are traditionally used as shawls, bathing suit cover-ups, beach wraps and covers and even as tablecloths. Sarongs are machine or hand washable in a recommended gentle cycle in cold water and hung to dry.
