Sizes are in inches. The CHEST measurements are taken from the actual shirt and not from a body. Measure a shirt that fits the boy comfortably and compare your measurements to these measurements here to purchase the correct size. If your measurement is in between the measurements, then please, purchase the larger size. A chest measurement is taken from under the arm pits from seam to seam. The measurement is the circumference measurement. If you measure one side, back or front, then double the measurement to have the circumference.
