It is not necessary to call for Exchange or Return authorizations.
It simply is not necessary. There is no rush. MauiShirts.com allows an unprecedented six (6) months to make exchanges. Please communicate with your ORDER NUMBER. All orders are stored and sorted by the ORDER NUMBER.
IMPORTANT - Please Read: There are NO FEES for exchanges.
You have six (6) months to make a choice for an exchange. You may exchange for anything. There is a 15% FEE for re-stocking, handling and re-listing for all returned merchandise that is not for exchange.
REFUNDS can NOT be issued after 30 days.. By default, credit card data disappears from the on-line transaction at the end of the 30th day. MauiShirts.com understands there can be mitigating circumstances. As long as you request your refund within 30 days of your purchase, MauiShirts.com will issue a refund. Please DO NOT SEND ANYTHING BACK to MAUI unless you have received an email authorization to do so. Failure to do so will delay your refund.
Please, send an email and make your request. Do this by sending an email to Mauiman@MauiShirts.com. A reply to your email may take 24 to 48 hours or longer. Please be patient. Your email will be answered. An address for your return shipment will be furnished with your authorization. Please DO NOT include logos, art work, fancy stationary or attachments in your email. If you do so, there is a good chance your email will find itself into the trash or spam folder.
Refunds are customarily issued within 5 to 10 days from the time your item/s are logged in on Maui.. Please, first check with your credit card company before calling. If your refund has not been recorded within 10 days, please call our toll free number to verify your refund. Please have your ORDER NUMBER when calling. We require a few days from the time your returned item/s are unpacked, logged in, and received on Maui before a credit card refund will be issued. A refund transaction will appear on your credit card statement within two to three days after it has been processed. Refunds may take up to ten (10) days or longer, if your return item/s arrive 30 days after the initial request.

Please fold your returned apparel neatly and flat, as best you can, before you ship back to Maui. Please, button it up and zip it up. All garments are sent to you in perfect condition, with manufacturer's tags attached, neatly folded and wrapped in tissue paper and placed into a box. We can not accept garments, for return for credit or refund, if they have been worn or have make-up stains, or have been soiled in any way. The U.S. Post Office offers free, sturdy Priority Mail Boxes, (It is not necessary to use a Flat Rate Box unless your return items weigh over two pounds). The Post Office will also offer you free address labels. The cost for one pound or less is $ 4.60 for a Priority Mail shipment. A Delivery Confirmation is 65 cents and insurance is $ 1.65 for up to $50.00 in value. Most people ship back their exchanges and returns in the box that their order was shipped in. Please use a box and not a bag or envelope to send Rayon apparel back to Maui . Please, the cost is the same if you use an envelope or a box. Most people use First Class Mail envelopes for cotton items. Cotton does not wrinkle as much as rayon. If you fold the cotton items flat, they will come back in perfect condition. First Class mail cost is less than Priority Mail.
Some wrinkles and creases are expected, and can not be avoided. Be forewarned, a $ 7.50 steaming fee will be deducted from your refund or exchange if you return apparel that is greatly wrinkled, crumpled, unfolded, unbuttoned, unzipped and shoved, stuffed, without any care, into a bag, envelope or a box. The $7.50 fee will be deducted from your refund or exchange. Returned garments that have been washed or with stains or soiled in any way will not be accepted for refund or exchange..
WARNING ! MauiShirts.com, Inc. can not be responsible for your returned merchandise or refund if you do not first obtain authorization or if you do not communicate with your order number. If you send something back without written authorization, or without an order number, it may take months for your refund to be issued. Special Order items, shirts, dresses, 5X and 6X size Men's shirts are returnable for exchange ONLY. No refunds can be issued for Special Order items or Men's 5X and 6X shirts.
The handling, re-listing and re-stocking fee is automatically deducted from your refund. Returned merchandise orders sent back for exchanges that have excess credits will be issued merchandise credits Only. Merchandise Credits expire six (6) months after time of initial purchase. Merchandise credits can NOT be used for shipping costs.
The EXCHANGE / RETURN process is simple. Return what you don't want, within 30 days of your original purchase for a refund. MauiShirts.com requires that you make a new purchase for an exchange. No merchandise is set aside in lieu of exchanges.
A new Order Number will be generated. You will select new shipping charges. Please reference the Order Number of your prior, original purchase, in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS BOX of your new order form, so the two orders can be matched up easily.
It is always a pleasure to accept your Return or Exchange. More than likely, someone else will want what you are returning. All items are hand made in limited quantities, one at a time, in Honolulu. Demand far exceeds supply most of the time.
Credit Card Refunds will be issued to the credit card that was used for the original transaction unless the item/s were received as gifts.
WARNING ! DO NOT Refuse your Federal Express shipment. If you do so, you will incur the shipping cost back to Maui. This cost is probably double or triple your original shipping cost.
IMPORTANT: If you refuse a Priority Mail or Federal Express shipment, or the address that you furnished is undeliverable, it will be considered a return when it arrives back on Maui. 15% re-stocking, handling and re-listing fee will be deducted.
Shipping costs are not refundable. Shipping costs are not negotiable.
Your home environment is MauiShirts.com's dressing room. Please seriously consider the exact measurements in the size charts before you make your purchase. All size measurement charts are accurate for all styles. These size charts are on ALL pages of ALL listings on Amazon.com, Yahoo and EBay. Size Charts are on each page of every style and every selection. All size chart measurements are specific to Paradise Found and R. J. Clancey garments only. You are encouraged to utilize these size charts to avoid exchanges and returns. Do not hesitate to call the toll free number to request specific measurements.
Coupons and Discount Codes are not valid for Exchanges.
If you received something as a GIFT. A proof of purchase must be established. MauiShirts.com requires an order number or proof of purchase to facilitate an exchange. No refunds are offered for items received as gifts. Please supply the buyer's email address to locate the original Order Number.
Items must not have been worn, and must be in Original, New, (Unwashed), condition with all Tags attached to qualify for any Exchange, Credit or Refund.
Wrong Item Received: Every now and then the wrong item is shipped; wrong size, wrong color. It is rare, but sometimes a garment is shipped with a manufacturer's flaw. MauiShirts.com will make it right without hesitation. Send an email or call the toll free number for instrutions. MauiShirts.com,Inc. will refund your U.S. Priorty Mail or First Class Mail shipping cost to ship the wrong item back to Maui. MauiShirts.com will NOT pay UNITED PARCEL SERVICE or FEDERAL EXPRESS charges. Obtain a Delivery Confirmation Number from the Post Office. Email Mauiman@MauiShirts.com this Delivery confirmation number. The correct item will be sent to you at our expense.
Ebay Items: There is a 15% re-stocking, re-listing and handling fee for all eBay items, eBay purchases and eBay auctions. Ebay items can be exchanged for other eBay items or for merchandise on MauiShirts.com. No refunds are offered for Ebay items.
