Cargo, chino or silk blend
HIC's 23 inch Mauna Kea cargo walk shorts are the workhorse: deep pockets, a length that lands around the knee, and waist sizes from 28 all the way to 60. The Chiba Chino is an 8-way stretch walk short that looks neat enough for dinner, also to a 60 waist.
For something dressier, Paradise Found's herringbone shorts are a silk blend (72% silk) in black, khaki, sage green and slate blue. Palaka Plantation paniolo shorts bring the classic Hawaii work-cloth check.
Sizing
Shorts sized in numbers are waist measurements in inches. Shorts sized Small to 4X-Large vary by brand, so if you're unsure, measure a pair you like across the waistband and email the number to jz@MauiShirts.com.
