Buying guide & FAQ
Where to start
If you know what you want, jump straight to a style: shirts and blouses, dresses, muumuus or sarongs. If you're shopping for a trip, a luau or a party, scroll this page and use the filters for size and product type.
Many of the women's prints here also come as a men's shirt. Paradise Found cuts its Jungle Bird, Calla Lily and Star Orchid prints for both, which is how couples end up matching without trying very hard.
Rayon, cotton, or a T-shirt?
Paradise Found's camp shirts and dresses are mostly soft rayon that drapes and moves. RJC leans on cotton, which holds up to weekly washing. For an everyday option, RJC's women's T-shirts come in prints like Big Palm and Hawaiian Islands Quilt, sized Small to 2X.
Getting the size right
Each Hawaiian label uses its own size chart, so your size in one brand may not carry over. Lay a dress you already like flat, measure the bust and the length, and email both numbers to jz@MauiShirts.com. We'll recommend a size.
Common questions
What do women wear in Hawaii?
Locals and visitors alike wear light, loose aloha prints: a camp shirt over shorts, a sundress, or a muumuu. Rayon and cotton both work well in warm, humid weather.
Do you carry plus size women's Hawaiian clothing?
Yes. Many styles run to 2X-Large, RJC fitted blouses go to 3X-Large, and RJC muumuus run to 3X Plus, with Rainbow Plumeria going to 4X Plus.
How do I choose the right size Hawaiian dress?
Every Hawaiian brand sizes a little differently. Measure the bust and length of a dress you already like, email the numbers to jz@MauiShirts.com, and we'll recommend a size.
Is shipping free?
Yes. Shipping is free to anywhere in the USA and its territories, with no minimum order and no code to enter. Faster USPS and FedEx options are available at checkout.
