Length is measured from the
top of the shoulders to the bottom of the dress. Slit: There is a 10 inch bottom slit on the left side. Bust is a circumference measurement from
armpit to armpit taken across the body of the dress from seam to seam. Mid-Widthis a circumference measurment taken from the center of the dress. There are two (2) generous 10 inch deep, in-seam pockets. Please note that these measurements are taken from the dress and not your body.

J. Clancey MU'U MU'U Dresses, and have no relationship to any other dress maker or brand name. BUST or CHEST measurement is the circumference measurement taken from below the armpits from seam to seam. The measurement is taken with the dress flat on a table. Gathered stitching at yoke allows for slightly more bust room.
The WAIST is a circumference measurement of the middle of the dress. The middle of the dress is half-way between the shoulder top and the bottom of the dress.
The BOTTOM is a circumference measurement of the bottom of the dress taken from seam to seam.
The LENGTH is measured from the shoulder top to the bottom of the dress hem.

CHEST: The Chest measurement is taken from under the arm pits from seam to seam. The measument, in inches, is the circumference - the back and front added together. MIDDLE-WIDTH: The middle circumference measurment was taken at the middle of the dress. This was determined from measuring from the top of the dress to the bottom of the dress and then dividing this measurement in half. FULL LENGTH: Measurement was taken from the top of the shoulder strap to the bottom of the dress. FEATURES:The dress has two 19" side slits. There is a back 20 inch zipper.
