Diamond Head is one of the most recognized landmarks in Hawaii. It is approximately 1.2 kilometers wide, at the southeast end of the Island of Oahu.
It is this image you see on this Hawaiian Aloha Shirt. Early mariners thought the glistening calcite crystals inside the rocks of Diamond Head were diamonds. Diamond Head formed when hot magma rose up and encountered ocean water. Igneous rock formed by the air fall of volcanic ash. Pumice is the main ingredient in this material called "tuff". During Wold War II tunnels were dug in the soft "tuff" of Diamond Head for look-out posts to warn of invasion. Diamond Head is still a military property, but it's scenic views are open to hikers, drives and tours.

BUST sizes are estimates due to the bralette styling of the front and the back area smocking of this sarong dress.
WAIST circumference measurement is taken across the dress, seam to seam, level with the sarong tie.
HIP circumference measurement is taken across skirt of the dress approximately seven (7) inches below the level of the sarong dress tie.
LENGTH is a straight measurement taken from the top of the shoulder strap down to the bottom of the dress hem with the strap adjusted to the shortest buttoned length. Approximately 1 1/2 inches strap length can be gained using the second button hole.
